Square-Enix werkt momenteel hard aan vervolg op Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, een spel dat jaren geleden op de GameCube verscheen. Het was op zich een kleine doorbraak, want lange tijd (sinds de Super Nintendo) ging Square-Enix niet of nauwelijks door één deur met Nintendo. Nu is dat echter omgedraaid, want zoals men weet is de Japanse ontwikkelaar als een gek games aan het ontwikkelen voor de Wii en Nintendo DS. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is er ook zo eentje. Op 5 februari verschijnt de game bij ons in de winkels.
